Contract: Permanent, Full-time

The Opportunity

TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well established and growing law firm is expanding its residential conveyancing offering and is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Associate to join its team as it opens a new office in Penarth.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate-level Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or experienced Conveyancer with at least three years’ experience to join a growing team, play a key role in the new office and contribute to the continued success of the department.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, ensuring all work is handled efficiently and in line with the firm’s procedures and quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion.
• Providing clients with regular updates on the progress of their transactions, associated costs and any issues that arise.
• Ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care and service delivery.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and professional contacts.
• Supporting business development initiatives to generate new instructions and contribute to departmental growth.
• Identifying opportunities to develop the team’s workload, improve billing and strengthen the firm’s reputation.
• Contributing to the continued development and success of the wider conveyancing department.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• At least three years’ experience in residential conveyancing.
• Qualification as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or equivalent experience as a Conveyancer.
• Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with a client-focused approach.
• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent standards of work.
• A proactive approach to business development and building professional relationships.
• The ambition to contribute to the growth of a new office and a developing team.
