We are looking for a Lifetime Planning and Probate Solicitor to join an established and growing legal team in Carmarthen. You will work with individuals and families across a broad range of lifetime planning and probate matters, helping clients make important decisions with clarity and confidence. Your work will have a genuine impact, whether you are helping someone plan for the future, supporting a family through bereavement or dealing with the complexities of an estate.

The role

You will advise clients across areas including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate planning, probate and estate administration.

You will have the opportunity to work on matters ranging from straightforward estates to more complex family and financial circumstances, building strong and lasting relationships with your clients along the way.

We are looking for someone who can do more than simply respond to an instruction.

What you will bring

You will be a qualified solicitor with experience in private client, lifetime planning, wills and probate or a closely related area.

You will have sound technical knowledge and take pride in producing high quality work, but technical ability is only part of what we are looking for.

• Comfortable dealing with sensitive and sometimes emotional conversations
• Commercially aware and confident in developing relationships

You may already have several years of experience, or you may be ready to take the next step in your career. What matters most is your approach, your ambition and the quality of experience you want to create for your clients.
