Junior Legal Assistant – Conveyancing (Progression to Qualification Pathway)

A leading national law firm is seeking ambitious Junior Legal Assistants to join its growing Conveyancing team in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity for law graduates with some practical conveyancing experience who are looking to build a long-term career and progress towards qualification within a supportive and structured environment.

The Role

You will join a busy and well-established Residential Conveyancing department, supporting fee earners on a varied caseload of residential property matters. This role is designed as a progression pathway, offering hands-on experience, training, and development with the aim of supporting your journey towards qualification as a Legal Executive or Solicitor.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting fee earners with all stages of residential conveyancing transactions
• Drafting and preparing standard legal documents and correspondence
• Carrying out property searches and reviewing results
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders
• File management, compliance checks, and post-completion work
• Supporting the team with administrative and technical conveyancing tasks

About You

We are looking for motivated individuals who are keen to develop within a fast-paced, professional environment.

Essential requirements:

• Law degree (or equivalent legal qualification)
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a residential conveyancing role
• Strong understanding of basic conveyancing processes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach
