Senior Associate/Legal Director – Corporate

TSR Legal is currently working with a highly regarded Legal 100 law firm as it continues to grow its corporate offering in Cardiff. The firm is looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Solicitor at Senior Associate or Legal Director level, with the opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of its corporate practice in Wales.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious corporate lawyer to work on high-quality, high-profile transactions while helping to shape and grow an expanding team.

You will join an established national corporate practice and advise a diverse range of clients across a broad spectrum of corporate transactions, including:

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Private equity transactions
• Joint ventures
• Share sales and acquisitions
• Corporate re-organisations and restructurings
• Shareholders’ agreements and other corporate documentation
• General corporate advisory matters

Alongside managing a varied and interesting caseload, you will have the opportunity to develop strong client relationships and contribute to the firm’s wider business development strategy in the Welsh market.

The role would particularly suit someone who is commercially minded, ambitious and interested in playing an active part in building and developing a growing corporate team in Cardiff

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 6+ years’ PQE with strong corporate experience
• Experience advising on a broad range of corporate transactions
• Excellent technical, drafting and analytical skills
• The ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice
• Strong client management and relationship-building skills
• A genuine interest in business development and developing new client relationships
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
• A proactive and collaborative approach

You will be someone who is confident dealing directly with clients and intermediaries and who enjoys being involved in both the legal and commercial aspects of transactions.
