Residential Property Conveyancer

TSR Legal is working in partnership with an established and progressive law firm to appoint a Residential Property Conveyancer to join its team in Bath.

This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancer / property lawyer who is passionate about delivering high-quality legal services and building lasting relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Handle sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties.
• Manage remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property matters as appropriate.
• Review contracts, title documentation, searches and supporting paperwork, identifying and addressing potential issues.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, other solicitors and relevant third parties to progress transactions efficiently.
• Provide clear, timely and proactive updates to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
• Ensure transactions progress in line with agreed timescales, maintaining regular communication and managing client expectations.
• Identify and resolve issues that may affect the progress of a transaction, providing practical advice and solutions.
• Maintain accurate files and ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
• Work closely with dedicated support staff and the wider property team to ensure an efficient and consistent service.
• Contribute to the continued success and reputation of the department through excellent client care and professional standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts, encouraging repeat business and recommendations.

About You

You will be a skilled residential conveyancer who takes pride in delivering a high standard of work and providing clients with a positive experience during what can often be a significant and stressful time in their lives.

You will be proactive, approachable and confident managing your own caseload, with the technical ability to handle residential property matters effectively and the communication skills to keep transactions moving.

Essential skills and experience:

• Previous experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload.
• Strong technical knowledge of the residential property transaction process.
• Experience dealing with sales, purchases and associated conveyancing matters.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive approach to progressing transactions and resolving issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• A genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service.
