A well established national law firm is looking to strengthen its Real Estate team with the appointment of a Senior Associate specialising in renewable energy and infrastructure. Joining a highly respected practice with significant investment in this sector, you will advise an impressive client base delivering projects that support the UK’s transition to cleaner energy.

Working closely with an experienced sector lead, you will become a trusted adviser to developers, landowners, investors, funders and corporate clients involved in renewable energy and strategic infrastructure. The work is varied, technically interesting and commercially focused, spanning solar developments, battery storage schemes, wind energy projects, electric vehicle infrastructure, digital infrastructure and wider commercial development.

You will lead on complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions and disposals, options, leases, easements, development agreements and asset management matters, while collaborating with specialists across planning, construction, banking, environmental and corporate teams to provide clients with a seamless service.

Beyond the technical work, this role offers genuine involvement in the continued growth of the practice. You will have the opportunity to build long term client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives, support junior lawyers and play an active role in a team that continues to expand its presence within the energy market.

About You

You will be a qualified Solicitor with strong commercial real estate experience gained within a recognised regional or national practice.

Experience advising on renewable energy or infrastructure projects would be welcomed, although lawyers with a genuine interest in developing their expertise within this sector will also be considered.

You will enjoy building relationships, delivering practical commercial advice and working collaboratively across different legal disciplines. Strong technical ability, sound commercial judgement and an enthusiasm for working within a growing sector are all essential.
