TSR Legal is working with an established and growing law firm in the Newport area that is looking to appoint a Family Solicitor with 1+ years’ PQE to join its supportive Family team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a well-regarded practice offering a varied caseload, genuine progression opportunities and a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of family law matters, with the level and complexity of work tailored to your experience.
The caseload is expected to include a mixture of:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy matters
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation and relationship breakdown
- Domestic abuse matters
- General family law advice
You will work alongside experienced family lawyers and receive ongoing support while continuing to build your own client relationships and develop your technical expertise.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year PQE in Family Law
- Have experience managing or assisting with a family law caseload
- Demonstrate strong client care and communication skills
- Be confident dealing with sensitive and complex matters
- Have good organisational and case management skills
- Be keen to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative team
