Family Solicitor – Care – 1+ PQE
TSR Legal are currently representing a well respected legal fim based in Cardiff, who specialise in both family and care law. The firm pride themselves on delivering compassionate, expert legal support to clients navigating sensitive issues in care proceedings, child protection, and related matters.
We are seeking a Childcare Solicitor to join the Cardiff team, with experience in care law and a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable clients through challenging legal processes. As a Solicitor you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload, provide clear advice, draft court documents, and represent clients in hearings when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling care proceedings and related family law matters
- Providing timely and practical legal advice to clients and professionals
- Preparing statements, applications, and other legal documents
- Representing clients at court hearings and mediations
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and case law
Person Specification:
- Qualified solicitor with experience in care law or family law, 1+ PQE
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills
- Empathetic approach and ability to handle sensitive matters
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
