About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor with 1-4 years’ PQE to join a highly regarded, established South West law firm.

You will work closely with experienced solicitors and have the opportunity to develop your expertise across a broad range of employment law matters. The role will involve:
• Advising employers and employees on contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Managing a varied caseload appropriate to your experience
• Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management and workplace investigations
• Handling discrimination, whistleblowing, redundancy and unfair dismissal matters
• Drafting employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements and related documentation
• Supporting clients with Employment Tribunal proceedings
• Advising businesses on employment matters arising from corporate transactions and organisational change
• Developing strong, long-term relationships with individuals, businesses and HR professionals
• Supporting the team’s networking, marketing and business development activities
To be successful in this role, you will:
• Be a qualified solicitor with between 1 and 4 years’ PQE
• Have experience handling a range of employment law matters
• Possess strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Demonstrate excellent drafting, communication and client-care skills
• Be confident managing matters independently while working collaboratively within a team
• Have a proactive approach to professional development and business development
• Be interested in building a long-term career within a respected regional practice
