TSR Legal are proud to be working with a Bristol-based firm specialising in criminal law. This firm is currently seeking a Criminal Duty Solicitor to become an integral part of their dynamic team, delivering robust legal defence services.
As a Criminal Duty Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in navigating complex legal defences. Your expertise will be crucial in cases involving intricate defences such as insanity, automatism, intoxication, and duress. You will be the cornerstone for clients facing serious charges, providing them with the highest level of representation and advocating for their rights with tenacity and insight.
Candidates must possess a solid grounding in criminal law, with a PQE of at least 2 years within a criminal practice. The ideal solicitor will have a proven track record of handling a broad range of criminal cases, including those with intricate defence strategies. Accreditation as a Duty Solicitor is essential, as is the ability to manage a demanding caseload with a high degree of professionalism and competence.
