About the Role

A new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a well-established and growing law firm in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with ideally 3+ years PQE who is looking to join a respected commercial property team with a strong regional presence and a growing client base. The firm offers high-quality work, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of the department.

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of commercial property matters for business owners, investors, developers, landlords, tenants and commercial clients. You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while working closely with experienced senior lawyers and partners on more complex matters.

This role would suit someone who is technically strong, commercially minded and looking for a long-term opportunity with a firm that can offer quality work, client contact and genuine career progression.

The role will involve:

• Handling a varied caseload of commercial property matters.
• Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property.
• Acting for landlords and tenants on leases, renewals, licences and related matters.
• Supporting clients on development, investment and portfolio matters.
• Advising on refinancing and secured lending work.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial property documents.
• Managing client relationships and providing practical, commercially focused advice.
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider firm.
• Supporting business development and helping to grow the commercial property department.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor with ideally 3+ years PQE in commercial property.
• Have experience managing your own commercial property caseload.
• Be confident advising business clients, landlords, tenants and investors.
• Demonstrate strong drafting, negotiation and client care skills.
• Have a commercial and practical approach to legal advice.
• Be able to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
• Be keen to develop your profile and progress within a growing department.
