TSR Legal has recently been instructed to assist a highly regarded law firm as they look to expand their Clinical Negligence offering in Cardiff with the appointment of an additional Solicitor with at least two years’ post-qualification experience.

Our client has an established reputation for complex claimant litigation and provides specialist advice to individuals and families pursuing claims arising from negligent medical treatment.

The firm is looking to appoint an ambitious Clinical Negligence Solicitor who has already developed experience managing medical negligence claims and is now looking for greater autonomy, quality of work and long-term progression.

Working within an experienced team, you will manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters while also supporting senior lawyers on more complex and higher-value cases. The caseload may include delayed and missed diagnoses, surgical negligence, birth injury, fatal claims, orthopaedic matters and claims involving significant long-term injuries.

You will have responsibility for progressing matters from initial investigation through to settlement or trial, including reviewing medical records, drafting witness evidence, instructing medical experts and counsel, analysing breach and causation evidence and negotiating settlements.

The firm is keen to hear from Clinical Negligence Solicitors who are confident dealing directly with clients and experts and who want to play an active role within a growing department.
