Children Panel Solicitor

A well-established, Legal 500 and Chambers UK recognised law firm is looking to strengthen its Family team with an experienced Children Panel Accredited Solicitor, FCILEx or CILEx.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Children specialist looking to take ownership of a varied caseload within a supportive and established team, with genuine scope to develop your career and build your own work.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of family and children matters, with a particular focus on public law children work. You will have the opportunity to take cases from initial instruction through to conclusion, providing high-quality advice and representation throughout.

Your work is likely to include:

• Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders
• Domestic abuse matters
• Care proceedings and PLO matters
• Wider family matters, including cohabitation and disputes between unmarried couples
• Advocacy and representation where appropriate

About you

We are keen to hear from Children Panel Accredited Solicitors, CILEx or FCILEx professionals with 2+ years’ PQE who are confident managing their own caseload and are passionate about children law.

You will ideally have:

• Strong experience in public law children and care proceedings
• Children Panel or relevant Law Society accreditation
• The ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Confidence undertaking your own advocacy
• Excellent client care and communication skills

A following would be advantageous, although candidates with the right experience and ambition are encouraged to apply.
