The opportunity:

TSR Legal are currently supporting a highly regarded top 100 law firm in Cardiff who are looking for an ambitious and technically accomplished Private Client Solicitor to join its established and growing team in Cardiff, advising high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, business owners and trustees.

This is a unique and fantastic opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value private client matters, building trusted relationships with clients whose affairs often span multiple generations, complex family structures and substantial personal and business assets.

The role will allow you to play an important role in developing client relationships, delivering tailored advice and contributing to the continued growth of our private client offering across Wales.

About the role

• You will manage a varied and sophisticated caseload, providing strategic advice to clients seeking to protect, preserve and pass on their wealth.
• Advising HNW and UHNW individuals, families, entrepreneurs, business owners and trustees on complex private client matters.
• Drafting wills and developing bespoke estate and succession planning strategies.
• Advising on inheritance tax, capital gains tax and other tax-sensitive wealth preservation matters, working with appropriate tax specialists where required.
• Establishing and advising on trusts, including their administration, management and long-term objectives.
• Managing estate administration and probate matters, including high-value and complex estates.
• Supporting intergenerational wealth planning, family succession and the transfer of business and personal assets.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across private wealth, family, corporate, agriculture and estates, and other relevant practice areas to deliver a coordinated service.
