TSR Legal are currently partnering with a well-regarded law firm based in Oxford, who are currently looking to recruit an Associate to join the award winning Property Disputes team. The team solely focus on real estate disputes, serving a diverse clientele comprising both residential and large commercial clients across the UK.

As an Associate within the Property Litigation team, the successful candidate will be responsible for consistently delivering high-quality legal advice to clients in a commercially savvy manner, ensuring exceptional client service at all times. Additionally, they will actively contribute to marketing the department’s services and engaging in business development activities to enhance the firm and team’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a diverse caseload encompassing both residential and commercial disputes, occasionally collaborating with Partners on more complex matters.
• Cultivating credibility with clients and fostering individual client relationships by effectively managing expectations regarding options, outcomes, risks, and timelines.
• Taking ownership of delegated project aspects and meeting associated deadlines.
• Providing mentorship and support to junior team members, offering technical, business, and general advice.
• Assisting in managing budgetary aspects of client matters.

Skills Required:

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4+ years of PQE.
• Previous experience in general property litigation is a prerequisite.
• Exposure or keen interest in specialized areas such as service charge disputes, TOLATA claims, or property-related professional negligence is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage caseloads and delegate tasks effectively.
• Strong client management skills with a dedicated focus on delivering outstanding client service.
• Enthusiasm for and commitment to participating in business development and marketing initiatives.
